About Rebecca as a Yoga Teacher

As a Massage Therapist and Reiki Master, Rebecca sees the effects of daily stress on her clients, and the imbalance it can create in the body, mind and spirit. She devotes her time and energy to restoring the body’s natural balance. Through her own yoga practice of 12 years, she has felt the positive power yoga can have on negative stress, and has used it as a tool to keep herself grounded, centered, and healthy. Ever since attending massage therapy school, she had planned on becoming a yoga teacher in hopes to help others the way yoga has always helped her. She received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certification under Lara Ward’s Lotus Gardens Yoga School.

Rebecca’s yoga teaching style aims to counteract everyday stresses, teach ways to cope with negative stress, and create space for the body and mind to take a break from the bustle of modern life. She wants her students to come away from her classes feeling challenged, but rejuvenated and at peace.
